Key Responsibilities

  • •Define LNG technology needs and multi-year development priorities with LNG organization, customers, product owners, commercial teams, and engineering stakeholders.
  • •Lead complex Technology NPD projects through the stage-gated process, including technical scope, risk assessment, milestone planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
  • •Serve as a technical authority for LNG process cycle development, cryogenic process technology, heat exchanger performance, and related modeling methods.
  • •Design and mature novel process cycles, equipment concepts, and technology solutions to improve competitiveness, efficiency, reliability, safety, and sustainability.
  • •Develop testing procedures and experimental programs to validate models, de-risk concepts, and generate design data, while protecting and expanding LNG technology intellectual property via patent disclosures and applications.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics).
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in technology development, R&D, or process engineering in industrial gases, LNG, cryogenic technologies, or related process industries, with detailed cryogenic knowledge (e.g., hydrocarbon cryogenics and LNG).
  • •Strong fundamentals in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, phase behavior, and cryogenic process design.
  • •Steady-state process simulation experience and ability to apply simulation results to process cycle development, equipment design, and technology decisions.
  • •Ability to develop, validate, and deploy engineering models, methods, or design tools and communicate technical results to senior stakeholders.
