Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, draw, and verify structural engineering designs for industrial, energy, and Oil & Gas projects while ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.
  • •Create engineering detail deliverables, including structural drawings for steel structures, reinforced concrete, and foundations; generate reinforcement detailing and steel takeoffs.
  • •Elaborate 3D models of structures (metal and reinforced concrete) and extract plans, isometrics, elevations, sections, and details for deliverables.
  • •Prepare quantity takeoffs and materials calculations (MTO/BOM) and coordinate/integrate 3D models across Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Equipment, and Process disciplines.
  • •Participate in design review workshops and interdisciplinary quality control, and provide technical guidance/mentoring to junior CAD talent.

Key Requirements

  • •5 to 10 years of specific engineering project experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • •Knowledge of structural design codes including IBC, ACI 318, and ASCE 7 (and AISC).
  • •Experience with structural analysis/design software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and Mathcad (and Staad Foundation).
  • •Ability to develop CAD deliverables and 3D models (including extraction of plans and elevations) from 3D models.
  • •Specialization or master’s in Structural Engineering (deseable) and current professional registration.
