Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise mechanical design and development of product lines, contributing to project design, prototype production, and key integration design decisions.
  • •Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to identify industry standards and compliance requirements impacting product design.
  • •Lead product certification planning and testing, supporting relevant Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTLs).
  • •Develop engineering repository structure and mechanical design Standard Operating Procedures, including verification and validation.
  • •Support production with cost/design for manufacturing analysis and optimize assembly and testing processes with manufacturing engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Engineering with at least 5 years of mechanical design experience, or a Master’s degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of mechanical design experience.
  • •Experience developing products from concept to manufacturing launch.
  • •Proficiency with 3D mechanical CAD for complex assemblies, sheet metal design, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
  • •Strong working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, weldments, structural frames, and enclosure-based designs for electrical/industrial applications.
  • •Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction for design reviews and standards adherence.
