  • •Directly supervise daily photovoltaic module production to meet quality standards and achieve cost-efficient operations across multiple plant areas.
  • •Lead, manage, and participate in continuous improvement activities and teams.
  • •Train and mentor Supervisor I associates and coordinate on-the-job training for manufacturing associates; maintain training matrices and training guides in SolarConnect.
  • •Control costs to maintain budget accuracy and monitor/coordinate Work In Process (WIP) optimization between manufacturing units.
  • •Maintain safety procedures and good housekeeping standards, including the 5S system; monitor and improve manufacturing processes to meet cycle time and address downtime constraints.

Salary: USD 62,500 - 89,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED.
  • •One (1) year of First Solar supervisory experience OR four (4) years supervisory experience in a manufacturing production setting, warehouse, textile, agricultural, or material inspection capacity OR six (6) years supervisory experience plus two (2) years in a related manufacturing/inspection setting.
  • •Experience in electrical, mechanical, and chemical industrial applications.
  • •Experience and working knowledge of continuous improvement tools.
  • •Effective communication and supervisory skills with strong organization and planning abilities.
