IT Systems Engineer III responsible for securing and integrating Ophelia's IT systems, driving SOC 2 readiness, and leading end-to-end IT improvement projects. You will manage a MSP, own Level 3 escalations, and collaborate across teams to enhance security, automation, and employee IT experience in a remote, healthcare SaaS environment.

Job Function: IT Operations (Systems/Network Admin)

Key Responsibilities

•End-to-end ownership of IT projects, with an emphasis on increasing security and systems integration of third-party SaaS platforms; hands-on execution and oversight of partners.
•Receive and manage Level 3 IT helpdesk escalations and partner with our IT managed services provider; ensure high IT helpdesk standards through measured SLA performance.
•Take ownership of your work, driving projects from inception to impact with autonomy and proactive communication in a remote environment.
•Manage IT vendor relationships to ensure compliance, security, and high-quality performance; budget management and ongoing communication.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with clinicians, engineers, and non-technical stakeholders to build the next generation of products.
•Improve quality through software development habits, code reviews, QA, bug fixing, debugging, system maintenance, and refactoring.
•Stay current with industry trends to drive innovation and excellence in product design and implementation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 150,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, ideally in a growth-stage company with bespoke systems.
•Must have experience with SCIM, SAML, and security systems; ITSM, IdP/IAM, MDM along with OU and directory structures; IT automation and reporting.
•Nice to have experience with AI automation using LLMs, ZTNA design, DLP/EDR systems, mixed environments (Microsoft/Apple), cloud experience, and DNS administration.
•Ability to own complex projects, working with technical and non-technical stakeholders to design and plan execution, and handle post-rollout feedback.
•Stellar collaboration and communications, with strong time management and the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
