Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage procurement goals and metrics, including productivity, supplier rationalization, risk management, supplier quality, and on-time delivery.
  • •Coordinate and execute implementation plans for multiple procurement projects across cross-functional teams using standard work.
  • •Partner with Product Growth, Commodity, Engineering, and Materials teams to align commodity strategies with requirements and share Trane Supply strategies.
  • •Select and manage preferred suppliers and contracts by evaluating business needs against supplier capabilities for quality, cost, and delivery.
  • •Forecast and report procurement financial metrics and support annual operating plan development for productivity targets and initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in procurement, engineering, project management, quality, finance, and/or operations, or a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • •Strong understanding of procurement processes at an operational and leadership level.
  • •Proven ability to plan proactively, anticipate issues, and resolve problems with little or no assistance.
  • •Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong influencing and negotiating across the organization.
  • •International sourcing experience and large complex cross-functional project experience are a plus; supplier development, materials management, and/or supplier quality are a plus.
