Key Responsibilities

  • •Uncover insights from massive datasets and industry trends to identify high-impact opportunities that boost customers’ payment performance.
  • •Design and continuously refine standard methodologies for payment optimization, keeping Airwallex ahead of the industry.
  • •Lead deep-dive discussions with enterprise clients regarding their payment performance, acting as their strategic advisor.
  • •Train Sales and Account Management teams on payment optimization tactics to enable them to win.
  • •Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to build AI/ML-powered optimization techniques that automate smart routing, reduce costs, and maximize success rates.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in the payments space with deep understanding of ecommerce, card-based processing and optimization
  • •Strong knowledge of card network rules and local payment methods and regulatory environments (PSD2/PSD3)
  • •Proficiency in BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks) to tell data-driven stories
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to present to C-suite and drive strategic discussions
  • •Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment and can drive results with minimal instruction
