Key Responsibilities

  • •Author and coordinate creation of design guides and specifications for new designs, and drive architectural direction for next-generation devices/platforms.
  • •Work with ODM/JDM partners to execute designs against specified architecture and review design and validation results.
  • •Set standards and determine feasible design targets for cost, performance, and reliability via design choices and component/supplier selection.
  • •Collaborate across hardware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, procurement, and other disciplines to implement product requirements and meet program goals.
  • •Provide technology updates and discuss requirements with multiple Dell Technologies product groups and development teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency in hardware design, analysis, and debugging of complex printed circuit boards, including power, mechanical, and thermal infrastructure.
  • •Experience in computer architecture and designing with high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, and Ethernet.
  • •Strong background in electrical or computer engineering with solid understanding of server architecture.
  • •Lead cross-functional engineering teams.
  • •Typically requires 8+ years of related professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or 6+ with a Master’s, or 3+ with a PhD, or equivalent experience).
