Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive technical strategy and the roadmap for Adaptive Telemetry and related systems.
  • •Lead end-to-end delivery of large, cross-functional initiatives, including planning, design, execution, rollout, and long-term operations.
  • •Own architecture, reliability, performance, and cost for critical systems, balancing scalability, availability, latency, and cost.
  • •Define SLOs/SLIs and lead high-severity incident response, including blameless post-mortems and systemic fixes.
  • •Improve observability and operational readiness via telemetry, alerting, runbooks, capacity planning, and automation to reduce toil and MTTR.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven delivery of large distributed systems, including operating complex systems across multiple teams with demonstrated technical leadership.
  • •Deep systems-design instincts with strong tradeoff judgment across latency, consistency, availability, scaling, and cost.
  • •Hands-on cloud and platform experience with cloud-native architectures such as microservices, containers/Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • •Ability to define SLOs/SLIs, drive reliability work end-to-end, and perform capacity planning and performance tuning.
  • •Excellent coding and design skills; strong enough to lead technical designs and write clear, maintainable, well-tested code (Go preferred; Python/C/C++/Rust or similar translate well).
