Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for fabrication from parts to final assemblies.
  • •Coordinate product improvement and new product releases with other engineering functions and manage manufacturing engineering projects as needed.
  • •Use design for excellence (DFx) principles to estimate and reduce manufacturing/product costs and improve product quality.
  • •Determine time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
  • •Develop and use test procedures, evaluate results, perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions (including Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis), and mentor junior engineers.
