Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance/repair needs.
  • •Operate a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver concrete safely and efficiently, following dispatch instructions and laws.
  • •Add materials (fiber, color, or other additives) to the concrete mix as needed and ensure product quality (e.g., slump).
  • •Maintain delivery communication with the dispatcher, review delivery tickets for special instructions, and complete required tickets/signatures/records.
  • •Rinse out the drum and chutes, dump slurry per procedures, collect customer payments/record transactions, and follow safety rules while maintaining a clean work area.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have a current Class A or B CDL with self-certification of non-excepted interstate and a current DOT medical card.
  • •Pass pre-employment physical and controlled substance testing.
  • •Safety-minded with ability to conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT and all other applicable rules.
  • •Ability to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
  • •Preferred: two years of general driving experience in a commercial or construction setting and a high school diploma or GED.
