Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end investigations into complex AML/CFT matters from alert review/referral through case development, disposition, and SAR/STR submission.
  • •Conduct delegated MLRO reviews of SARs/STRs prior to filing to ensure accuracy, quality, and regulatory defensibility.
  • •Lead proactive investigations using transaction data, on-chain activity, trading behavior, and cross-functional intelligence to identify typologies and high-risk activity.
  • •Develop actionable intelligence from casework and analytics to inform escalations, regulatory reporting, control enhancements, and investigation workflow improvements.
  • •Support investigation quality through case review, structured feedback, and contributions to policies, procedures, training, and programme maturity.

  • •4+ years conducting and reviewing complex crypto financial crime investigations across retail/institutional transfers, spot trading, and derivatives.
  • •Prepare, review, and file SARs/STRs with strong understanding of multi-jurisdiction AML/CTF obligations and reporting expectations.
