Job Summary

Provide investment solutions for individuals and businesses while managing client goals and maintaining long-term advisory relationships. Partner closely with Atlantic Union Bank branches through business development, networking, and community outreach. Counsel clients on retirement, tax, education, income, risk, and suitability; perform investment research and portfolio allocation analysis; and meet individual sales goals while adhering to Reg BI and fiduciary requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Counsel customers on investment topics including retirement, tax, education, income management, risk management, suitability, and investment objectives.
•Adhere to Regulation Best Interest (Reg BI) and act as a fiduciary in advisory relationships.
•Acquire, expand, and maintain client relationships through business development, networking, and partnerships with internal business lines.
•Purchase and sell securities when needed to meet customer objectives and answer questions about the market while evaluating portfolios and providing recommendations.
•Develop and maintain an annual personal business plan, monitor production activity to meet sales goals, and represent the company through community civic and non-profit organizations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline (preferred).
•Minimum of five years of experience in the investment services industry.
•FINRA registrations including Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65 in lieu of Series 66), plus State of Virginia life insurance and annuities licenses.
•AWMA or CFP designations preferred.
•Strong knowledge of investment concepts and regulations and demonstrated ability to sell and negotiate financial products.
