Job Summary

Provide technical environmental health and safety support for SpaceX satellite manufacturing teams. Lead safety reviews, incidents investigations, and development of EHS programs across OSHA, NFPA and EPA regulations in a fast-paced aerospace environment, ensuring personnel and environment safety while aligning with mission requirements.

Job Function: Environmental & Sustainability

Key Responsibilities

•Work closely with test engineers and technician teams to perform detailed safety reviews of complex hazardous operations to ensure safe execution
•Lead or assist in all aspects of incident investigations, including initial follow-up, root cause analysis, and corrective action development and closure
•Develop and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and/or guidelines established by OSHA, NFPA, and NIOSH and other applicable regulatory agencies
•Collaborate with department leadership to complete job hazard assessments and implement health and safety policies and procedures
•Implement and develop safety and health programs including but not limited to OSHA general industry and construction standards, hazcom, hazmat, cryogenics, compressed gases, confined space, fall protection and lock-out/tag-out, radiation and laser safety

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 95,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
•3+ years of experience designing developing and overseeing EHS disciplines
•Proficiency in OSHA NFPA NIOSH regulations and other regulatory agencies
•Ability to collaborate with test engineers and leadership on job hazard assessments and safety policies
•Willingness to relocate to Redmond, WA and work on-site in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
