Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate cranes, loaders, and other heavy equipment to lift, move, and place loads.
  • •Ensure loads are within lifting capacities to prevent overload and avoid hazards or obstructions.
  • •Align equipment using reference stakes and guidelines and coordinate actions using hand or audio signals.
  • •Complete inspection paperwork for crane mechanisms and lifting accessories and report equipment deficiencies or malfunctions.
  • •Perform basic sorting of scrap and assist with yard operations and special projects as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED certification (preferred).
  • •Related training or experience operating cranes, loaders, and other heavy equipment (preferred).
