Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead mechanical engineering scope for multi-billion-dollar EPU projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
  • •Direct and review mechanical system designs to ensure compliance with ASME, NRC, and fleet standards.
  • •Coordinate with EPC contractors, OEMs, and site engineering to ensure system compatibility and constructability.
  • •Support Owner’s Engineer and independent third-party reviews by validating design quality and operational readiness.
  • •Resolve mechanical design issues and ensure modifications support long-term operability, maintainability, and integration into plant systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
  • •10+ years of nuclear engineering experience, including 5+ years in mechanical systems design/modification or major projects.
  • •Direct experience with Extended Power Uprates and large-scale plant modifications (or equivalent).
  • •Strong knowledge of NRC, INPO, ASME, and ANSI codes and standards.
  • •Demonstrated ability to lead discipline-specific teams and interface with EPCs, OEMs, and site staff.
