Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and manage end-to-end Land Freight operations to ensure timely, safe, and efficient shipment execution.
  • •Develop competitive land freight solutions based on customer, shipment, and route requirements, and identify appropriate vehicles/equipment.
  • •Serve as a key customer point of contact by coordinating enquiries, quotations, and operational execution; manage customer satisfaction and retention.
  • •Negotiate and manage transporter, trucking partner, agent, and service provider relationships to maintain service availability and competitiveness.
  • •Monitor shipment milestones, operational performance, P&L/job costing and invoicing, resolve delays/claims/border issues, and ensure compliance with regulations and CargoWise updates.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (or related field).
  • •4+ years of relevant experience in the Land Freight/Road Freight forwarding industry, with supervisory or team-leading exposure.
  • •Strong knowledge of land freight operations, transportation routes, trucking solutions, and freight forwarding processes.
  • •Knowledge of local and cross-border transportation regulations, customs requirements, and operational procedures.
  • •Proven customer service experience, including managing key accounts and negotiating rates; CargoWise experience is preferred.
