Key Responsibilities

•Design and grow the product-engineering org across member-facing consumer domains, building world-class teams and alignment rituals.
•Drive velocity and quality through processes, tooling, and culture that enable fast shipping without momentum-killing tech debt.
•Lead consumer and member-facing product engineering for agent library, money-movement/servicing flows, and chat/conversion experiences.
•Embed an AI-native engineering culture by standardizing tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and frontier models.
•Run recruiting and strengthen talent brand for your org, partnering with product and architecture stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 400,000 - 500,000 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of engineering experience, with 4–6 years leading teams at high-growth startups/scale-ups and scaling through a funding transition.
•Deep domain commonality in fintech, consumer finance, or a neobank (or consumer-at-scale), with relevance to conversational/CX software.
•Still highly technical: can review PRs, make architecture decisions, and operate alongside Staff/Chief Engineers.
•Extreme AI fluency at the infrastructure level and experience building an AI-native engineering culture.
•Production-scale TypeScript and/or Python, with strong people leadership and product intuition; BS/BA in CS required.
