Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a key communications point for research teams and resolve queries to resolution.
  • •Proactively manage communications for data collection with clinical investigators, research support staff, and external centres.
  • •Ensure confidentiality and smooth day-to-day running of the study protocol and data collection, flagging issues to the manager.
  • •Check datasets for inconsistencies and missing, incomplete, or contradictory information in REDCap; validate and verify data and produce clean datasets.
  • •Provide administrative support (e.g., maintaining supplies, assisting meetings and travel, handling petty cash, distribution of materials to external centres).

Key Requirements

  • •GCSEs (minimum grade C/4) in English and Mathematics (or equivalent level 2).
  • •Experience of medical data entry and data validation techniques, including the ability to query and maintain computer databases.

  • •Ability to work independently, prioritise workload with minimal supervision, and meet agreed deadlines.
