Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise day-to-day site operations for a fast-paced construction project, including logistics, schedules, progress, and resource allocation.
  • •Plan, implement, and enforce construction site logistics and SpaceX safety policies; drive safety culture with contractors and internal partners.
  • •Coordinate daily deliveries, offloading, inventory, storage, and staging of purchased materials; maintain jobsite cleanliness.
  • •Create and enforce worker/subcontractor schedules with engineering and project management, maintaining daily operational logs for management as needed.
  • •Manage delegated construction project procurement and execution, including cost/schedule development, proposal review, contract assignment, implementation coordination, and status tracking.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •2+ years of professional experience in engineering, construction management, architecture, or facilities management.
  • •Experience supervising a multi-discipline team of contractors/laborers and working in technical fields.
  • •Understanding of multiple disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, piping, geotechnical, and surveying).
  • •Ability to read, review, and approve shop and fabrication drawings, and develop/maintain schedules and cost controls.
  • •Preferred: project management and scheduling software; estimating, cost control, schedule, and contractor management.
