Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with operations and functional leaders across multiple geographies to embed HSE into day-to-day decisions, long-term strategies, and performance metrics.
  • •Lead global deployment and governance of the HSE Management System and ensure environmental compliance with ISO standards and applicable regulations.
  • •Establish and enforce environmental governance frameworks (standards, procedures, controls) to manage risk and performance across sites.
  • •Oversee environmental compliance programs, including permitting, regulatory reporting, inspections, and engagement with regulatory authorities.
  • •Provide people leadership for HSE professionals worldwide and drive continuous improvement using Kaizen/Lean and Root Cause Analysis, including organizational learning from environmental incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •10 years of progressive HSE experience or similar leadership experience across global, multi-site operations, preferably in energy, oil & gas, or heavy industry.
  • •Ability to drive cultural change and partner with senior leaders to embed HSE practices into daily operations.
  • •Extensive knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, environmental management systems, and global regulatory compliance (permitting, reporting, governance).
  • •Expertise in Kaizen, Lean methodologies, and Root Cause Analysis (including 5-Why, ICAM, TapRooT) for continuous improvement.
  • •Professional HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP, CMIOSH) and strong English communication; willingness to travel internationally 30–40%.
