Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute, lead, oversee, and manage engineering studies for electric distribution systems, including grounding assessment, ground grid design, lightning protection, power quality, and related power system studies.
  • •Engage with clients using expertise in grounding and power quality methodologies; provide technical advisory services for grounding, design, and protection.
  • •Lead on-site data collection, report presentations, and delivery of related training where applicable.
  • •Provide strategic input to identify and secure business with prospective customers, and support business development through proposals and marketing materials.
  • •Interface with customers, sales, vendors, manufacturing plants, product divisions, and internal teams to procure consulting services and support overall Power System Solution goals.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 113,000 - 165,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 8 years of proven experience in a consulting or technical advisory capacity.
  • •Expertise in lightning protection and grounding systems for industrial facilities, critical infrastructure, data centers, and utilities (including ground grid design and soil resistivity interpretation).
  • •Advanced power system studies knowledge (short circuit, coordination, arc flash, transient stability, dynamic studies, reliability, risk assessment, power quality, grounding assessment, ground grid design).
  • •Advanced knowledge of power system analysis software tools such as SKM, EasyPower, ETAP, CDEGS, PSCAD, or similar.
  • •Familiarity with electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEEE Std 80) and ability to acquire/maintain required safety certification for customer sites.
