Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five (5) or more hours per day on each scheduled instructional day.
  • •Use student performance data to personalize instruction, identify learning gaps, and adapt your approach.
  • •Provide timely, meaningful feedback and maintain accurate records for students and families.
  • •Build professional relationships with students and families through proactive communication that supports learning outcomes.
  • •Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • •Active state teaching license in Alabama in CTE-Computer Science grades 6-12.
  • •Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings.
  • •Comfort teaching live on camera for five (5) or more consecutive hours per day.
  • •Hands-on experience with online learning platforms, virtual instruction tools, and standard productivity software.
