Key Responsibilities

  • •Project management and technical delivery lead for road/public transport/active travel schemes, ensuring coordination of multi-disciplinary inputs on projects of varying scale.
  • •Serve as a key client-facing advisor, developing trusted relationships and proactively managing client expectations.
  • •Act as project technical lead and reviewer, guiding design development and quality assurance.
  • •Lead and mentor other staff to develop design drawings, construction details and tender packages.
  • •Prepare fee proposals and manage budgets for individual projects, delivering discrete and overall project solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive post-professional qualification experience in design and project management of road schemes and active travel schemes.
  • •Experience leading concept, preliminary and detailed designs for major national road schemes and public transport/active travel schemes.
  • •Chartered member of a relevant engineering institution.
  • •Experience or knowledge of Civil3D/OpenRoads/Open Roads and WinDes design software.
  • •Strong communication, client management and stakeholder management skills.
