Key Responsibilities

  • •Fabricate cores by forming and annealing slit core steel to produce finished cores ready for core/coil assembly.
  • •Manage core manufacturing work centers (core former, deblock, georg, tranco) and follow production schedules to execute processes on time.
  • •Set up and operate core wrapping machines and related equipment to meet dimensional specifications, including forming/inserting end and side plates during annealing.
  • •Scan units into SAP, move trays between processes using conveyors, overhead cranes/hoisting equipment, and complete accurate paperwork to confirm each order.
  • •Enforce safety requirements including lockout/tagout (LOTO), adhere to PPE and housekeeping (5S+), inspect/test cores to quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • •Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the Nacogdoches, TX facility will be considered (Active-Duty Military Service members exempt).

  • •Ability to operate industrial equipment and hand tools.
