Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, upgrade, and patch database systems; implement required changes.
  • •Diagnose and resolve database errors to ensure high availability, handling incident/request/change/problem management.
  • •Manage database access and backups, ensuring compliance with database and security standards.
  • •Perform business continuity planning and capacity forecasting for database systems.
  • •Provide on-call support, meet SLA/metrics targets, and support performance tuning and proactive monitoring with reporting/dashboarding and automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • •Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle databases, plus Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • •Programming and scripting experience with Java, PowerShell, and Python.
  • •Strong command of SQL and SQL Server tools.
  • •Strong oral and written communication with analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Education:Master's in Computer Science; Electrical & Electronics/Computer/Software Engineering; Information Systems; or related fields
