Job Summary

Support Tyson’s transportation network for fresh and frozen (including rendered) shipments by balancing service and cost, while helping deliver projects tied to the Export & Bulk Transportation business plan. Work with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Strategy, Procurement, Systems, Safety, Personnel, and Legal/Compliance to improve service, visibility, workflows, and process efficiency. This year-round, in-person internship is based in Springdale, Arkansas.

Key Responsibilities

•Support transportation network performance across fresh and frozen shipments (including rendered products), balancing service and cost.
•Align and execute projects supporting the Export & Bulk Transportation business plan.
•Work on transportation projects for service improvement, visibility, process improvement, and workflow simplification.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Strategy, Procurement, Systems, Safety, Personnel, and Legal/Compliance.
•Meet with stakeholders to drive “Best In Class” initiatives and support other assigned duties.

•Team player with strong work ethic and leadership skills; initiative and interest in Supply Chain/Transportation.
