Job Summary

Examine patients to diagnose musculoskeletal conditions and determine appropriate treatment in collaboration with other consultants. Perform orthopedic surgical procedures and prescribe medications to support recovery and manage pain. Maintain detailed patient records, manage patient consent, and provide counseling on diagnoses, treatment options, side effects, and complications. Monitor patient progress and ensure quality and safe practices, including emergency consultation availability.

Job Function: QA, Test & Release Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Examine patients to diagnose bone, joint, ligament, and other musculoskeletal problems and determine treatment courses with other consultants when needed.
•Perform orthopedic surgical procedures, including plating broken bones, tendon/ligament reattachment, and joint or hip replacements.
•Record patient care through detailed appointment notes and maintain confidential patient records, including electronic diagnostic reports.
•Prescribe medications to improve recovery and control pain after procedures; refer to physical therapy or perform non-invasive procedures such as pain management and joint injection.
•Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed; conduct patient counseling using consent forms and ensure quality and safe practices, including emergency consultation availability.

Key Requirements

•Valid medical license to practice in the country of residence and ability to provide high-quality orthopedic care.
•High proficiency in orthopedic procedures aligned with core and advanced QCHP privileges.
•Excellent communication skills to explain complex medical information to patients and families.
•5 years of experience in a similar role.
•Fluency in English and Arabic; ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills.
