Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Embedded platform system design and development with knowledge of underlying hardware for networking product lines.
•Integrating PHY drivers from multiple vendors and OS changes/upgrades for Linux networking components.
•Developing in platform framework with virtual machines, hypervisors, and Kubernetes-based docker/microservices environments.
•Exposure to open-source components and collaboration across multiple time zones as an individual contributor.
•Maintain awareness of industry trends and work as a team player in a multi-site setup.

Key Requirements

•BE/B.Tech or ME/MTech preferably in Electronics & communications or Computer Science.
•8 to 14 years work experience in platform infrastructure and embedded software device driver development in switches/routers.
•Good understanding of switch/router hardware/software architecture and networking domain.
•Familiar with Broadcom MACs and PHYs and Barefoot components and their SDKs.
•Familiar with Baseboard Management Controller (BMC), IPMI. Familiar with Ethernet ports and optics up to 400G/800G, breakout capabilities, auto-negotiation, FEC.
