Job Summary

Provide air quality compliance, permitting, and technical support for natural gas operations. Prepare and submit air permit and compliance materials, track and interpret air quality regulations, and advise management on upcoming risks. Serve as a point of contact for federal, state, and local officials, review emissions testing and inspection results, represent the company on air quality committees, and support emergency response with 24/7 availability. Hybrid schedule based in Houston.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete air permit and compliance submittals.
•Track and interpret air quality regulations and advise management on potential concerns.
•Interact with federal, state, and local officials and maintain working relationships across operations, engineering, and business development.
•Monitor schedules and budgets and evaluate third-party air contractor work; review emissions testing and environmental compliance inspections.
•Provide 24/7 emergency response support and represent the company on industry air quality committees (with up to 20% travel as required).

Key Requirements

•BS or BA in Engineering, Physical or Environmental Science, or a related field.
•Minimum 3 years preparing and submitting emissions inventories, air permit applications, and environmental compliance documentation (5+ years strongly preferred).
•Demonstrated experience performing regulatory analyses and interpreting agency rules, regulations, and guidance.
•Working knowledge of the Clean Air Act, Title V compliance requirements, source emission calculations (EPA or industry standard procedures), air pollution control technologies, and dispersion modeling.
•Excellent written and oral communication, including experience interacting with federal, state, or local officials, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
