Job Summary

Perform non-destructive inspection (NDI) for aerospace components in the Quality department at the Airbus Aerosystems Kinston facility. Use ultrasonic and other NDI methods to verify parts meet customer engineering requirements, set up and standardize NDI equipment, interpret results for acceptance/rejection, and document findings. Conduct system performance checks and audit surveillance, guide Level 1 technicians, and be able to work any shift onsite.

•Operate and standardize NDI equipment, process parts, interpret results, and document acceptance or rejection.
•Perform system performance checks and verify compliance with customer engineering requirements.
•Conduct audit surveillance on NDI processes and initiate/document non-conformances according to specifications and procedures.
•Lead Level 1 NDI technicians and provide necessary guidance or supervision to trainees.

•Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, including articulating complex issues and maintaining confidentiality.
