Key Responsibilities

  • •Support Wholesale Credit Risk Analytics (WCRA) policy and governance across the model life cycle aligned to model risk management controls.
  • •Independently manage and drive consistent controls activities to uplift processes, improve MI, data quality, and operational efficiency while remaining audit/regulator ready.
  • •Drive disciplined issue management through to sustainable “Path to Green” closure and run BAU governance activities (forums, packs, minutes, actions, escalations).
  • •Understand regulatory standards and principles (e.g., SS1/23) for wholesale credit risk models and prepare progress reports tailored to different audiences.
  • •Interface with senior stakeholders across WCRA leads, regional counterparts, project owners, Model Risk Management, Chief Control Office, Assurance, Audit, Data, and Financial Engineering to ensure compliance and governance.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of relevant experience in banking, analytics, consultancy, advisory, or governance & reporting functions.
  • •Advanced reporting/BI skills using tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx; strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • •Hands-on coding/automation experience (preferably in Python) to support process improvement and tooling initiatives.
  • •Understanding of regulatory implications and experience in risk analytics (credit risk, model risk, compliance risk, operational risk, assurance/audit).
  • •Ability to manage governance workflows: documentation, reporting workflows, issue management, and communication with non-technical and technical stakeholders.
