  • •Oversee and perform comprehensive subsurface investigations for dams, including drilling, CPT/geophysical investigations, test pits, borrow area evaluations, and instrumentation installations.
  • •Plan, perform, and manage complex field exploration programs, material characterization, and laboratory testing of soil and rock.
  • •Perform geotechnical analyses for seepage, slope stability, settlement, liquefaction, and deformation.
  • •Prepare and present geotechnical engineering reports, recommendations, and technical presentations for project teams, clients, and regulators.
  • •Support dam safety inspections and construction oversight, including QA/QC, peer review, and health and safety plan requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering (or related) and 6+ years of related dams experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • •Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License due to the nature of the work.
  • •Experience conducting dam investigations and design/evaluation (material characterization, liquefaction, seepage, slope stability, deformation, settlement).
  • •Master’s degree or PhD in Civil Engineering, or 10+ years relevant dam experience (preferred).
