Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide support to operations to minimize production downtime.
  • •Recognize and promote safer, efficient, and cost-effective operation ideas consistent with budget expectations.
  • •Work with outside groups (process engineering, project engineering, and Operations Excellence) on safety, optimization, and expansion initiatives.
  • •Maintain safe and efficient operation of rotating equipment across SACROC Production processes.
  • •Perform indoor/outdoor mechanic tasks in all weather conditions, including scheduled on-call weekend coverage.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 1 year of experience as a Mechanic (or industry equivalent).
  • •Experience working on split case MSD Bingham pumps.
  • •Experience working on and rebuilding Griswold, Gould's, and Worthington centrifugal pumps.
  • •Experience working on Vapor Recover Units (VRUs) and knowledge of associated VRU lubrication and cooling systems.
  • •Maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, and have basic computer skills, strong communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
