Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare detailed plans and commissioning procedures, including start-up and operating procedures.
  • •Ensure site project execution complies with company/department procedures, commissioning schedules, and environmental and safety standards.
  • •Organise day-to-day activities of commissioning and process engineers and conduct plant checkout against engineering flow diagrams.
  • •Act as day-to-day coordinator between client and construction personnel on commissioning matters and assist with client training.
  • •Oversee technical problem investigation, guarantee tests, completion and handover documentation, site closeout reporting, and recommendations for future improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering and ideally a Chartered Engineer.
  • •Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in process engineering design and commissioning.
  • •Previous refinery experience with proven process engineering design background.
  • •Commissioning expertise gained through project execution within a major multinational contractor, operator, or consultancy.
  • •Excellent communication skills and demonstrable technical expertise across refining/petrochemical/oil & gas/LNG commissioning aspects.
