Job Summary

Operate sprayer/airflow equipment to apply fertilizers and crop protection products safely and accurately for local farming customers. Build relationships with farmers to understand chemical and fertilizer needs, educate customers on applied products and techniques, and support sales staff by ensuring orders are correct. Also perform hands-on operations work, including routine maintenance, warehouse/loading activities, and general labor around the plant and elevator.

Key Responsibilities

•Apply fertilizer and crop protection products under general supervision, using equipment such as a high clearance sprayer or floater.
•Work with customers courteously and professionally, educating them on products, techniques, and ongoing support.
•Assist the sales staff by helping ensure orders are correct and customer needs are met.
•Perform warehouse and plant/equipment work, including operating loaders and forklifts and supporting mechanics/maintenance.
•Load/unload and pick up/deliver agricultural inputs and perform general labor responsibilities, including equipment inspection and record keeping.

Key Requirements

•1+ years of experience in Agriculture Production, Operations, and/or Agriculture Application.
•Must meet minimum age requirement.
•Must meet DOT and company requirements.
•Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
•Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile.
