Key Responsibilities

  • •Check delivery routes for the day.
  • •Load and prepare the van for deliveries, ensuring orders are ready for efficient direct delivery to customers.
  • •Complete all vehicle safety checks and maintain full road compliance and health & safety.
  • •Provide great customer service on the road and act as an ambassador for the Waitrose brand.
  • •Support the wider shop team with general shopkeeping tasks when not on deliveries.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 14.31 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • •Provide great customer service skills and build rapport with customers based on trust and service.
  • •Demonstrate strong time management skills to complete deliveries efficiently.
  • •Be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting crates and moving cages.
  • •Work independently with self-motivation and adaptability, and be IT literate.
