Job Summary

Maintain and repair road construction and mechanical equipment used in asphalt and paving operations. Diagnose defects by operating and inspecting machines, dismantle equipment to remove defective parts, and adjust functional components and control instruments. Repair or replace parts, install structural and functional components, lubricate and clean equipment, weld broken parts, and start machines to test performance. Work onsite in APAC Alabama’s Mobile operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects.
•Dismantle devices to gain access and remove defective parts using hoists and hand tools.

•Lubricate and clean parts, and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
•Weld broken parts and structural members and start devices to test performance.
