Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the primary operational and technical contact for Defined Benefit pension administration.
  • •Serve as a key operational contact for clients and Trustees, interpreting issues, agreeing solutions, and ensuring timely, accurate service delivery.
  • •Proactively identify, investigate, and explain benefit, data, or process-related queries to support informed client decision making.
  • •Apply rigorous checking, validation, and quality control across client-related deliverables and draft/review client-facing communications.
  • •Contribute to streamlining and standardising processes and support/mentor junior team members and new colleagues.

Key Requirements

  • •Excellent understanding of Defined Benefit pensions, including scheme benefits and administration, with prior DB pension administration experience or related DB pension operations experience.
  • •Experience with Public Sector model schemes is preferable.
  • •Strong written and oral communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • •High attention to detail with a thorough approach to reviewing and validating work.
  • •Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured, organized way.
