Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the key, day-to-day client interface for delivering value-added cost management services.
  • •Estimate, plan, and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle, producing and presenting the final cost plan.
  • •Review and collaborate with design services teams and general contractors to develop cost estimates; reconcile changes and validate contractor data.
  • •Manage cost impact/contingency, commitments tracking, post-contract cost variances, and change control processes.
  • •Produce monthly cost reports for the client and support final account negotiation and agreed terms in a timely manner.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium or large construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters (procurement routes, value management, value engineering) and excellent communication skills.
