Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver environmental and planning inputs across project lifecycles from strategy to assessment for minerals and waste development projects.
  • •Manage projects and budgets, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet internal and client requirements.
  • •Lead bidding, project delivery and liaison with client teams, engineers, consultants and lawyers.
  • •Interface with stakeholders including regulators, clients, engineers and consultants to advance project objectives.
  • •Represent WSP and its clients to key stakeholders and industry stakeholders as required.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree (or equivalent) in Town Planning or relevant discipline.
  • •Membership of the RTPI or other relevant body e.g. IEMA; RICS.
  • •Experience of contributing to the delivery of minerals and waste projects in the UK.
  • •A good understanding of the UK planning system.
  • •Knowledge of the Environmental Impact Assessment process.
