Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Lead Operations & Maintenance Technician by operating and maintaining plant equipment with minimal guidance, including local operation via PLC panel interfaces
  • •Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance work orders (corrective and preventive) in Maximo, including documenting maintenance actions and spare parts usage
  • •Monitor and adjust water chemistry for HRSG, auxiliary boiler, and cooling tower systems, and operate the demineralized water system within OEM and plant procedures
  • •Read and interpret meters, gauges, and automatic devices; perform equipment inspections and calibrations; diagnose mechanical malfunctions and repair/replacement of defective parts
  • •Follow safety and environmental rules, permits, and regulatory procedures; assist with troubleshooting CEMS problems and calibrations

Key Requirements

  • •High School diploma or equivalent required
  • •Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or a combination (preferred)
  • •Mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical equipment knowledge, with demonstrated knowledge of power plant operations
  • •Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment, including emergency decision-making
  • •Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical one-lines, logic drawings, technical manuals, and P&IDs
