Job Summary

Manage and oversee structural design quality for residential, commercial, and warehouse/industrial building projects. Review design criteria and structural elements for compliance with codes, including geotechnical, wind, seismic, and fire protection considerations. Lead documentation coordination for structural drawings, shop drawings, and as-built deliverables, while coordinating with architects and MEP teams. Support consultants with complete submissions on schedule, oversee onsite material testing, and contribute to HSE initiatives and incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze and configure basic structural components to ensure design quality.
•Review design criteria (including geotechnical, wind loads, seismic loads, loads, and fire protection) and ensure adequacy of design.
•Analyze and review loading plans to ensure compliance with codes and project operational purpose.
•Coordinate structural deliverables documentation (structural drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings) with architectural and MEP works, ensuring submissions are closed out on time.
•Coordinate and oversee onsite material testing and weekly reporting, and support HSE initiatives and incident reporting/resolution aligned with company and IMS policies.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 8 years working experience, including 5 years relevant working experience.
•Advanced proficiency in CAD software and other design tools to draft and create technical drawings.
•Strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles to coordinate technical project aspects and resolve design challenges.
•Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure design compliance and quality assurance.
•ERP knowledge with preferably SAP functional skills (requirement).
