Key Responsibilities

  • •Own power hardware from conceptual design through high volume production and ground station operation.
  • •Design, analyze, and rigorously test DC-DC power converters for harsh environments.
  • •Design power supplies supporting 10s of kilovolts and hundreds of watts.
  • •Lead electrical power system and subsystem design trade studies to optimize performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  • •Define and execute comprehensive verification testing and analysis; iterate designs based on results and systems trades.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another STEM discipline.
  • •1+ years of experience in power converter development, including professional work or project/research experience.
  • •Experience with magnetics and design of custom transformers and inductors, including planar magnetics.
  • •Experience modeling, simulation, and testing of power electronics.
  • •Ability to work extended hours and some weekends as needed for mission-critical deadlines.
