Key Responsibilities

  • •Define what a supported baseline means, what’s included, and when it ships; establish inclusion criteria for stability, value, resourcing, and risk.
  • •Evaluate candidate products and revisions against inclusion criteria, guiding in/out decisions and documenting tradeoffs under program and leadership pressure.
  • •Create artifacts (compatibility matrices, diagrams, decision records) to keep programs and engineering aligned on a shared picture.
  • •Set release health metrics to assess baseline stability in the lab and in the field and drive subsequent releases.
  • •Maintain the baseline of record (configuration documentation, versions, compatibility, release notes, dependencies) across hardware, firmware, software, and COTS components; escalate scope/timeline risks early.

Key Requirements

  • •5–8+ years of product management experience, ideally on defense products.
