Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and services on military and commercial generators and HVAC systems used by the U.S. Army.
  • •Maintain 3kW to 150kW generators, including installation/removal from fixed and mobile locations, and repair AC/DC systems, electronic control systems, and wiring.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, chillers, and Environmental Control Units, including units mounted on trailers and vehicles.
  • •Maintain commercial power generation equipment, including military-spec generators and UPS systems.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma and 7 years of related experience, or BA/BS with 2 years’ experience, or AA/AS with 4 years’ experience.
  • •Extensive diesel generator experience, including generator parallel systems and switch gear.
  • •Experience brazing copper tubing and evacuating and recharging refrigerant.
  • •Technical experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, chillers, and Environmental Control Units.
  • •Must have (and maintain) a Secret security clearance; US passport must not expire for at least 2 years, plus valid US driver’s license and an international driver’s permit (AAA).
