Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, analysis, validation, and production support of carbon seals and rolling element bearings for gas turbine engine programs.
  • •Drive cross-functional engineering initiatives with suppliers, customers, and internal disciplines to develop sealing solutions and resolve technical challenges.
  • •Investigate complex technical issues using failure mode and root cause analysis, supporting rig testing and field investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • •Develop analytical methods and engineering tools, improve standard work and processes, and mentor engineers to strengthen technical expertise.
  • •Present design recommendations and analytical findings to customers and executive leadership; support domestic and international travel (10%).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in Engineering and 3 years of relevant experience.
  • •Relevant experience includes aerospace design and/or gas turbine design/analysis with demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
  • •Experience with project-related task/schedule management and resource/outsourcing management.
  • •Experience with NX or other CAD software (preferred).
  • •Experience using tools including MATLAB, Python, or ANSYS (preferred).
