Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct and oversee maintenance activities per approved work orders using authorised personnel, approved technical data, and calibrated tools and test equipment.
  • •Support engineering investigations and defect analysis while maintaining scheduled maintenance commitments.
  • •Provide field service support to Royal Australian Navy (RAN) vessels, shore establishments, and BAE Systems Australia business units as required.
  • •Perform preventative, corrective, and scheduled maintenance to meet operational and maintenance program requirements.
  • •Identify, report, and assist in resolving issues related to safety, technical data, personnel, tooling, and test equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •Certificate IV in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • •Completion of the MK45 Gun Maintainer/Operator Course (RAN EDP) is highly desirable.
  • •Demonstrated experience in electronics and/or avionics system maintenance.
  • •Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a maintenance team.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance, and eligibility to hold a higher-level clearance if required.
