Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with data scientists/analytics and stakeholders to identify and prioritize data engineering projects aligned to business goals.
  • •Design, build, and maintain data pipeline architecture for ETL from APIs, data streams, and data stores.
  • •Monitor and optimize performance and reliability, implementing solutions to improve scalability, efficiency, and security.
  • •Stay current with data engineering trends and use them to drive improvements and innovation.
  • •Implement data privacy and security requirements and enhance the team’s DevOps capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •5+ years of professional experience in data engineering building and maintaining data pipelines and data warehouses.
  • •Strong experience with Spark, Scala, and Python for high-performance, maintainable code.
  • •Experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Athena, Kinesis/Firehose, Lambda, and EMR.
  • •Experience with data pipeline orchestration and scheduling (e.g., Airflow) and familiarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g., SQL, data lakes).
