Job Summary

Define and own the end-to-end software architecture for HP’s edge AI-enabled incubation products across client applications, backend services, cloud-connected workflows, and local device interactions. Provide technical leadership on AI service integration, LLM workflows, model orchestration, evaluation pipelines, and responsible AI guardrails. Partner with cross-functional teams to address system-level performance, reliability, security, privacy, and enterprise governance while mentoring senior engineers and maintaining architecture documentation and roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with customers and internal product/design teams to gather feedback and translate customer insights into edge AI-enabled architecture decisions.
•Define and own end-to-end software architecture for complex platforms spanning client applications, backend services, cloud-connected workflows, and enterprise integrations.
•Set architectural direction and technical principles to drive scalability, reliability, maintainability, performance, security, privacy, and extensibility.
•Provide technical leadership for AI-enabled capabilities, including AI service integration, LLM workflows, model orchestration, inference API integration, evaluation pipelines, and responsible AI guardrails.
•Mentor senior engineers and maintain architecture documentation, decision records, system diagrams, technical roadmaps, and risk assessments.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
•10+ years of software engineering experience designing and delivering complex software platforms, distributed systems, enterprise applications, and cloud-connected products or device-integrated solutions.
•5+ years of experience in a technical leadership, architecture, principal engineer, staff engineer, or equivalent role.
•Deep experience designing modern software architectures across frontend, backend, local applications, cloud services, APIs, data models, and enterprise integrations.
•Strong technical depth in frontend technologies (Angular/React/TypeScript/JavaScript/HTML/CSS) and backend/systems languages (Rust/Python/C#/Node.js/Go), plus AI service and LLM workflow integration experience.
